BRUCE HEYWOOD, President
Bruce has developed almost 1 million sq. ft of medical facilities over the last 19 years. As the VP of Development with Nueterra Healthcare, he oversaw the development of 5 hospitals and 12 surgical centers.
Since establishing Heywood Development, Bruce has helped develop 11 skilled nursing centers and multiple hospital renovations. Bruce is also the president and co-founder of Corner Clinic Holdings, LLC, an urgent care start-up that provides affordable and cost transparent care.
Bruce holds a master’s in taxation from Brigham Young University and is a CPA.
DAVID HEYWOOD, VP Strategy
David is an associate at Kunzler Law Group, where he specializes in financings, debt transactions, and mergers and acquisitions for venture-backed startup companies. David is a director of Corner Clinic Holdings, LLC.
David graduated magna cum laude from the J. Rueben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, while also obtaining an MBA from the Marriott School of Management. Also a CPA, David worked as an associate in the transaction advisory group at Ernst & Young.
JACOB HEYWOOD, PROJECT MANAGER
Jacob worked for four years at Ernst & Young in their San Jose, CA and London, UK offices as an associate and manager in international taxation. Jacob holds a master’s in taxation from the Marriot School of Management at Brigham Young University. He is the chief financial officer of Corner Clinic Holdings, LLC.
SHANE WHITTIER, PROJECT MANAGER
From Intermountain Healthcare in Utah to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC, Shane has worked as a healthcare administrator and business development manager for nearly ten years. He has an MBA and MHCA from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Shane is currently the Chief Operations Officer at Corner Clinic Holdings, LLC.
